Woodforest Golf Club, previously named Fish Creek Golf Club is a Semi-private, 27 hole golf course facility located in Montgomery, Texas. The facility has three different 9-hole golf courses, The Front-9, The Back-9, and The West-9. They can be combined into 3 different 18-hole combinations: Front-9/Back-9, Front-9/West-9, and Back-9/West-9.
The course first opened for play in 2001. Steve Elkington was the course architect.
The fairways are lined with pines and oaks. Play is challenged by strategically placed sand bunkers and Fish Creek, calling for careful club selection and some precise shot making.
The club's practice facilities include fairway bunkers, greenside bunkers, chipping areas and putting green.

Fish Creek is a Steve Elkington design that is superb. This is a great golf course that seems to always be in great condition. The greens are normally quick(10 on stimp)and roll very nice bermuda. The course is set in a very wooded area, but the fairways have plenty of room for the average golfer. The back nine and the west nine have many more trees than the front, but all three are excellent. I would recommend this course highly.
